wife changed the broken door handle on the pontiac truck- the retaining clip for the latch rod was broken, the one mounting lug was pulled out of the plastic as well. swapped out the subwoofers in the kids car. stereo is now louder and more efficient....imagine that !!!

well the truck with the blown turbo- HOPEFULLY dosent have a ''dusted'' engine- the air filter was sucked flat and broken, allowing dust / dirt into the engine for how long, who knows? the hot side of the turbine was wedged in its housing- the main shaft had broken, hot side locked up, cold...

changed spark plugs in the pontiac truck. noticed it was stubborn to start when damp-yup, plugs were well worn. new ngk bpr5es installed. changed the air filter. had a low tire- but no apparent leaks...? will check it again.

rpm the same as the n/a, around 6500 boost7~8 psi they can handle short burst of 20 psi mine sits at around 10 psi as for the peak hp / rpm figure i would not know off hand....its just a smile when you floor it...

after a few drives with premium and seafoam dumped in the fuel tank, the car will stay running ! i may not have to re-build the carb- even tho the carb kit arrived the day before it started running properly- maybe it was scared of being taken apart, and started running properly? ha ha

oem was about 75 hp, 110 tq

the crank is the same for all the g10 engines. only difference is the pistons and rods (same rods as gti 1.3 rods)

i have to strip the headliner out, and the heater box- mice got in there and it stinks. dammit! and it has a perfect headliner.....

swapped out the three bent wheels for 3 straight wheels, on the kids chevy sprint. installed led bulbs in the rear tail-lamps. need to balance the tires- they dont shake like the bent wheels-the kid says it rides smooth after 160....!!!! and he says the engine still has more to give...

patched a hole in the kids car exhaust pipe. cheaper and easier than having a shop do the repair. no more puttering from under the car now!! brought the '87 in for a few things. wont stay idling on its own, but drives fine and has good power...???? will grab the fsm and do some reading...

my t3 is built with re-useable head studs. arp is overkill for these small engines. never had an issues with the oem studs either.
