Electric windows dont work - Fuses and Relays are ok

Hi, i have mk3 GLS 1,3 2door swift

one day the electric windows stop working, no noise, nothing, as far as i can see, all the fuses and relays are ok

so im guessing a wire is fucked somewhere ?

any pointers guys

I can't believe no-one has answered this post yet. Of course I just noticed it but it has a lot of views.

The switches could be bad. being on the door they get exposure to moisture when you have the windows down and it's raining and probably even when they are up. It could be a bad contact in the switches. Pull the door panel and try bypassing the switch.
 
some power window/ lock circuits stop working when one of the switches is unplugged, or damaged. not sure about that on these cars, i dont have that option... i guess i am not spoiled like other members, that can have the luxury of pressing a button to roll the window up or down, i have to resort to brute arm strength to crank my window up or down.... :laugh:
 
Most wiring problems I found were in the pass through between the door frame and the door. 30 year of bending and the wires eventually break.
 
Checkk the switches then the harness. Most of the times it is the switch.
