GTi rear brake caliper alternative.

Unfortunately its been many years since I upgraded brakes on my Mk1 GTi so I don't remember the details but I was looking into Nissan rear calipers and vented discs instead of solid ones on Mk2 GTi as an upgrade . Can't even remember which Nissan model had same caliper mounting points as Mk2 GTi . I bet you I still have those parts buried somewhere

I had looked at making a rear caliper bracket from a 90's Honda with rear disc brakes. They use the a similar emergency brake caliper. I would have to find which particular one I was looking at again. I remember looking for something that still had aftermarket support for different pads. I have Wilwood rear calipers on my black gt, but that is a lot of money to do that. I do have dxf file for making the bracket since I designed it.

I think it was a Honda Accord. The Wilwood bracket I designed it would be close to the same for the Honda Accord. However, they would be solid disc and not vented. The only rear advantage would be availability of both calipers and pads, and the disc are 20 mm wider diameter.
