Went to replace my thermostat and the new one doesn’t fit. And so far any I’ve ordered don’t fit either. The fins in the new ones are to close to the edge see this photo example new on left original on right.
It’s really close but won’t fit in there flush.
Also the gasket that came was wrong too, fortunately I had one spare.
Spare correct gasket on top.
Anyhow anyone have a known good part number for these? Very aggravating have it apart should have been a 10min job but here we are. Even went to local brick and mortar stores and they have the same one like I ordered that doesn’t fit right.
