Teamswift will return

Jess Tremblay contacted me privately with the great news that he will sponsor Teamswift.net for a couple more years.

Look for the site to come back up soon. ;)

A muted yea! I will continue the majority of my posting here, but I am going to rape that site for data on G10T's and repost it here... if no one objects.

Feel free this site isn’t going anywhere I’ll be right here with ya :)

i get the impression that there are many swifters that have packed it in and moved on so that interest is really waning. heck! I've been in this community for 18 years.

I always said that i'd be the one to turn the lights out. :P

even though my project work has slowed to a crawl I still drive my twincam vert daily during the summer and actively moderate on 3 Suzuki sites year 'round.

i'm hoping that all my pics, now appearing as broken red x things over years of project posting will come back with teamswift. ;) the actual depth and breadth of archived data at teamswift can't be overlooked.

i won't be leaving ssgtirep or anything like that but i still see it as good news that teamswift will return.

Since 2003 here, Rich. I have to say that I have made some amazing contacts over the years with TS. From Knuckles and his kid JR, to Phil, Scotty and yourself, the community has been filled with colorful people. I have had numerous variants of the Swift over the years but have clung to my GTi's on the advise of many on the boards. I have to say that they have grown on me like the unwanted sandlot rejects...

I have really arrived late to the party. Sure wish I had come to Teamswift earlier but really glad to be with you all here and now.

I'm a believer but in this forum I believe Suzuki is the All mighty and Geo is his son whom this world of believers worships....

What about us Tin Indians in the room? What are we the altar boys? We came to the party in '86

thanks for the update... whenever TS is back will be a great day... in my old age I've forgotten most of my legendary one liners and I want them back. :D

Oh man this is extremely exciting. I have dozens and dozens of bookmarks from there that are totally dead in the water right now. (I know about the scrape, but that's a ton of work). I was actually debating scrapping my project altogether because it's becoming extremely hard to find parts without TeamSwift.

The harder they are to get the more satisfaction you get from finding them. Do not give up.

True as this is, it's becoming a frustrating search. Even just tracking down a single fender clip for the grill and a shifter bushing so I can get some hardened replacements made for the community has proven impossible so far.

All can be found on Megazip, Amayama or down under on redline.
