I'm guessing this would still be true even if TS were operational. The MK1 stuff is just getting scarce, eventually we'll all be in that boat, although it's a bit easier with MKII because there were a lot more of those made and the geo shares the body style for the most part. :( :(
 
Is there a tentative date for it's return? The anticipation, like the wait for my turbo to return, is excruciating.

Look to Suzuki in South Africa. The Mk1 was still made into the 90's on the continent. As well, Gumtree (buy/sell) and Redlinegti forum in AUS are good sources.
