Yuck, I was afraid of this, I don't have a press, all I have is a little handheld propane torch, hammer and chisel, well I do have a sawzal, but I don't' want to mess up the metal on the mounts themselves. Fortunately I have a set of mounts that are pulled off already from my 93GT that I can work wi...

The Bali LSD is on my list, but won't happen this summer. I hope you get your vehicle up and running so you can let me know how you like it before I drop a grand + on it. Yeah it's definitely not cheap, it cost me $1573.71 just for the one transmission all in with the LSD not including the cost of ...

I gathered the spare engine mounts and I’m going down to the shop to burn them out to be powdered coated.

I need to clean out my mounts so I can put in my new poly bushings as well, I’d love to see some pictures when you do this and an idea of how much of a pain this is to clean out the old mounts.

I haven’t really done anything on this for awhile life keeps getting in the way. I did spend some money though. This thing looks super super nice compared to how trashed these usually are. Sure wish I had the dough to pick it up right now, but that’s just not in the cards, and I won’t insult the seller with a lowball offer. Anyhow check it out!

Hmmm ok, I didn’t think the stock washers were reusable. I also don’t have equipment to drill out the super hard ARP washers though. I think that kit I linked has washers I may have to go that route.

Aah…thanks. I was trying to remember which BMW my existing ARP head studs were from..put them in that engine about six years ago and haven’t had to remove them until now.

Do you remember what you did for washers? The only thing I’ve found involved drilling out some ARP washers to fit.
