Just read your entire build thread . Awesome work .
Would be nice to see few pics of finished truck from all angles . Outside and inside .
I have two Swift GTi's with an oil leak at main oil galley for cylinder head oil supply between the block and the head . In both engines I used Fel-Pro gaskets when I rebuilt them , both were decked . Never had and issue with Fel-Pro on mu T3's but I'm starting to suspect it's not the right gasket f...
Keep in mind its only 0.6 liter more displacement then Mk1 T3 and it makes 3.5 times the power . I wouldn't say that's "only" 268 HP , also it's 13 second car, stock. Not exactly a slouch . All cars, by Sprint standard, are pigs now days . "Pony" cars are 4000lbs . Weight moved up the scale along wi...

Think of it this way - only $5000 more than family sedan for WRC homologation special , what a bargain
1.28 tons (2800 lbs) , still the lightest of the new generation pigs .

Here is couple of pics of my set up . Before these I had Mk2 GTi front brakes and Willwood set up is 2 lbs lighter per corner because hat and caliper is aluminum . Even with that huge Willwood vented rotor . You can see difference in size in that first pic. Had to switch to 15" wheels to accommodate...
There is idle up solenoid on the firewall . Top of the second pic, one with white knob for idle adjustment . Those are the bast pics I can find right now . . . Biggest problem with these is finding a controller that works . I have 2 cars with complete charged AC systems and no good controller . Will...
There is no Mk1 Vert , at least not made by Suzuki .
Yes , Mk2/3 Vert knuckles are direct and only swap .
On my Mk1 GTi I’m running 12″ Willwoods with 4 pot calipers up front on Mk2 Vert knuckles and Mk2 GTi rear discs and calipers
Mk1 T3 does not have vented rotors , it’s same as regular Mk1 Swift . It may be same case with Mk1 GTi but Im not sure anymore , been too many years since I worked on one that’s stock .
Most of us switch to Vert knuckles which are direct swap
