I put a few hours in to the turbo ram horn manifold to get it ready to weld. Because I'm brining the turbo flange up 5/8" it is some extensive changes. Once I get every joint prepped and the 5/8" spacer put in I will tack everything. After that I will remove three runners from the merge collector an...

Some how I missed some of your build. I went back through and read everything. Good progress. With these cars it is always some kind of set back that takes them off the road. It takes commitment to getting them back up and running right. I had some questions from your build: What differential did yo...

I think they are all interchangeable but there are some differences. I forgot to grab the picture of the engine mounts before sending them off to be powder coated. 2 weeks wait on powder coating.

The Bali LSD is on my list, but won’t happen this summer. I hope you get your vehicle up and running so you can let me know how you like it before I drop a grand + on it.

I gathered the spare engine mounts and I’m going down to the shop to burn them out to be powdered coated. I need to clean out my mounts so I can put in my new poly bushings as well, I'd love to see some pictures when you do this and an idea of how much of a pain this is to clean out the old mounts....

What was planned and what is reality (see above for planned). Day 1: threw my back out Day 5: Finally got the new control arms on with new poly bushings, and greased the sway bar bushings. I also have the entire turbo setup off. My exhaust leak turned out to be a badly cracking turbo manifold. I hav...

I started a little side project which was building a 12 x 10 (8 foot walls) shed which I badly need for yard equipment. Framing is mostly done, but I need to get the roof and concrete in shortly. I wanted the overhead A frame for storing lumber and didn't want a garage door to make the attic space i...

I would narrow your search first with these questions: Are you planning on running an internal or external wastegate? This will change your selection choice right there. I'm trying to buy a ceramic ballbearing Turbonetics T3 50 but I need a 4 bolt hotside exit that doesn't use the internal wastegate...

I don't want to find the limit, but they are taking everything I'm throwing at it with Vitara Honda pistons (It is more likely a 8:1 compression ratio). You can still get the aftermarket forged rods, but unless I was shooting for high 200 hp or 300+hp I decided not to. There are other turbos out the...

I’m free for the summer. I want to dig in and get the parts on hand installed. I have a lot of other projects and also want to relax at the same time. Hopefully, I will get quite a bit done here in the next couple weeks. I’ll update as I go with pictures.
