All great info..thanks again Walt for sharing all the cool details..yet to get mine done as have been overly busy at work and other projects, not to include the recent southern hurricane that has interrupted life since last Wednesday night.. As I drive this thing daily need to make the time. She still drives ok, but the mounts on the front have started to make some noise due to rubber parts worn out. I have the mounts on hand, but would rather do it all at once.

I ended up recently ordering the Koni fronts.
The Amazon seller cancelled the order due to out of stock.
I re-ordered from Jegs who processed the order, gave me a ship date,
then confirmed the items have shipped today.
This should be interesting.

i think i bought the last of the front and rear struts/ shocks from rock auto for my ’87- they actually had a screw-up, called me directly to confirm that they were out of stock on what i ordered, but another pair had become available, and would be sent out-

@jamalspelling, I wish you the best of luck! What did you do about the rear shocks?

I haven’t got that far, way behind the 8-ball lately.
Lots of good stuff I have just pecking away at.
I cleared out all the Gabriel struts/shocks awhile back when the KYB’s went
out of stock, then got the Koni fronts but haven’t installed them yet,
though now I have plenty of donors.
