Breezy and I made a mess, but Casper and I went back and cleaned it up. Dish soap makes a good floor degreaser! Many thanks to my bride for the dish soap, and to my friend (I use that word sparingly) Kevin Puhl who graciously offered the us space and the time to store and work on Breezy over the winter. I couldn’t have done this without his physical help either. I gleefully remain in your debt sir.
Breezy Is quieter than even a new one. The turbocharger has a natural quieting effect on the exhaust and combined with a fast light off catalytic converter in the down pipe and a full emissions legal OEM style Bosal exhaust that I had Competition Muffler of Saskatoon adjust to fit. They have done good quick work for me before and I’m happy with their work and service today too.
Breezy’s heart is the last 3Tech long block engine to be created by Michael Cove. The head has a full performance workover including Aveo springs and the block was bored to 75mm with Suzuki Vitara pistons installed. It was built with a 222/365 cam, but for it’s new home the stock N/A cam was reused. It runs smoother than any G10 I’ve ever owned, makes nice smooth power, has great driveability and is REMARKABLY quiet. My goal of creating a safer car for my bride has been achieved. Thank you all who cheered me on along the way.
